Need out-of-this-world freedom? We’ve got you covered…literally!

Fleet Space Technologies gave students from Year 4 to Year 12 an extraordinary chance to design artwork for our next-gen Centauri satellite. The competition was designed to give students the ‘space’ to explore and launch their creativity into orbit. Thank you to everyone who entered our Give me Space Student Competition!

The Mission
Fleet Space Technologies is set to launch our next-gen Centauri satellites.

Where you come in?
We’re calling on your creativity to design an artwork that embodies Australians’ passion, drive, and pioneering spirit for space exploration. Your design can be represented in words, symbols, emblems and more, and will be laser etched on a plaque as part of our satellite.

Here's the challenge
Your design space is small but mighty, just like our satellites. The plaque will be 63mm wide and 38mm high, which is slightly bigger than a postage stamp. We will laser etch the winning design onto the plaque as part of the satellite, which will only be in black and white.

The secret to nailing this mission
Share your personal space exploration story, stay within the design dimensions, and have fun!
